Full description
A construction daily report done before you leave the gate, not at the kitchen table at nine at night. Open today's page, put down what happened, close the day, hand over a PDF under your own company header. It replaces the notebook in the glovebox and the camera roll that never lines up with it, and all of it aims at one moment: the argument nine months later about who lost the time. TODAY'S PAGE, IN THE ORDER THE DAY HAPPENS Weather. Manpower by crew, head count and hours each. Equipment on site, hours run, what went down. Materials received, with supplier and ticket number. Work performed, dictated if your hands are dirty. Delays. Visitors, who sign on the screen. Toolbox talk and topic. Safety incidents and near-misses. Photos. Instructions and RFIs received. Every section but weather switches off, so a small remodel does not carry a superintendent's paperwork. WEATHER THAT LOCKS ITSELF Pin the project once. High, low, wind and rainfall are read for those coordinates, not the nearest airport, stamped with the provider and the time read. With no signal you type the conditions yourself. Both records are kept side by side, neither overwrites the other, and both print. Back in coverage, the automatic reading fills in for the days you missed, from historical data, never a forecast. Close the day and the weather log is marked locked. That is what makes a rain day worth attaching to a claim. THE DELAY REGISTER LEAVES ON ITS OWN File a delay under one of eight causes: weather, owner, design or RFI, material, labor, inspection, utility, other. Log hours lost or a full day, and the crews it stopped. The Delay Register prints as its own document, apart from the daily log it came from: every entry, totals by cause, totals by month, and a contractor's declaration to sign. It is the attachment for a notice of delay or a request for extension of time. PHOTOS THAT CARRY THEIR OWN PROOF Each photo gets a stamped copy with the date, time, coordinates and job name burned into the pixels, and the original is kept beside it with a SHA-256 hash. Messaging apps strip EXIF; a stamp inside the picture survives forwarding. CLOSE THE DAY AND IT STOPS MOVING Closing locks the page in the database, not just on screen. Anything added later lands as an addendum with its own timestamp, printed under the original. The PDF footer carries the page count and a hash of the contents. WHAT COMES OUT OF IT - Day, week, month or range PDF: company name, license number and logo on every page - Delay Register PDF: entries, totals by cause, totals by month, declaration - Excel, nine sheets: days, manpower, equipment, materials, visitors, safety, delays, photos, project - CSV of every table in one ZIP - ZIP of original and stamped photos with manifest.csv and a SHA-256 per file Share it, or save it into a folder you pick. EIGHT MONTHS ON ONE SCREEN The project calendar marks which days have a report, which carry a delay and which were not working days. Days reported, man-hours, photos, delay entries and hours lost total on the cover of every multi-day report. NOTHING TO JOIN, NOTHING TO LOSE No account, no invite code, no portal, no sync. Every entry is written to the phone the moment you type it, so a day of work survives the app closing. One thing leaves the device: the weather request for your coordinates. No advertising; these pages go to owners and inspectors. Back the whole construction diary up to a folder you choose, every project, photo, signature and logo in one ZIP, restored on the next phone. ON SITE Reminder at 4:30 PM on working days, only when today's page is still empty. Optional 300 m geofence. Crews, equipment and materials import from CSV. Two-column tablet layout, dark mode. FOR Independent builders, general contractors, subs, superintendents and foremen reporting for someone else. PURCHASE Unlock with a weekly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy.
