Fraction Calculator Tape

Fraction Calculator Tape is a jobsite fraction calculator for carpenters, woodworkers, framers, contractors, and DIYers who measure in feet, inches, and fractions—not decimals. Enter feet and inches the way a tape reads (toggle Ft / In, tap ' for feet), build fractions with keys for 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, and 1/64, then add, subtract, multiply, or divide. After equals, an animated tape measure view shows where the answer lands on the inch scale—so you see the mark, not just digits. WHY FIELD CREWS USE IT • Feet & inches entry — commit feet with ', then inches and fractions for lengths like 5' 11 1/2". • Tap-to-build fractions — stack construction-style fractions as tapped, or reduce on entry. • Mixed numbers — whole inches plus fractions in one flow; exact rational math (no float drift on fraction ops). • Tape measure result — inch ticks and a spring marker on linear answers; caption shows feet-inches when you work in Ft. • Cuts list & recent answers — save cuts to a job, restore recent results, undo a deleted cut. • Glove-friendly keypad — large targets and high-contrast readout for the shop and jobsite. • Dark & light themes — readable outdoors or indoors. • Offline-ready after install — keep calculating when signal drops. • Premium (optional) — remove banner and interstitial ads; unlimited calculations without ad breaks. BUILT FOR REAL MEASUREMENTS Use Fraction Calculator Tape when you are cutting stock, checking a layout, combining lengths, or splitting a run. Enter what you see on the tape. Get a mixed-number or feet-inches answer you can trust, then glance at the tape view to confirm the mark. WHO IT IS FOR Carpenters, woodworkers, remodelers, general contractors, apprentices learning the tape, and homeowners who hate converting everything to decimals on a phone calculator. WHAT IT IS NOT Not a full estimating suite, not a camera tape measure, and not a homework step-by-step tutor. It does not convert decimals to fractions or round results up/down to a mark—it focuses on fast feet-inch-fraction math with a tape-style confirmation. Premium subscriptions bill through Google Play. Restore purchases anytime from the Premium panel. Ads support the free tier. Fraction Calculator Tape by Knox Studios — Questions or want to learn more?
