RECORD THE VISIT One tap starts a recording that keeps running when the screen locks, when the rep switches apps to pull up a quote, and when a phone call comes in. An ongoing notification and Android's own microphone indicator make it obvious to everyone in the room that recording is active. SCORED IN ABOUT TWO MINUTES The conversation is transcribed and scored against your team's rubric while the visit is still fresh. Reps see what worked and what did not before they reach the next door. Managers stop guessing what happens in the field. FOLLOW-UPS WRITE THEMSELVES Every scored visit comes back with a follow-up email and text message drafted from what was actually said in the room. Reps review, edit, and send instead of staring at a blank screen three hours later. BUILT NOT TO LOSE A RECORDING Audio is written to storage continuously in short segments rather than held in memory. A crash, a dead battery, or a process killed by the system costs seconds, not the conversation. Anything that ended unexpectedly is rebuilt automatically the next time the app opens, and the rep is told exactly what was saved. CONSENT IS BUILT IN, NOT BOLTED ON Before recording starts, Itero tells the rep exactly what happens to the audio: it is uploaded to produce a transcript and an AI coaching score, linked to their work account. Recording then cannot start until the rep confirms that every person present has been notified and has consented. Both prompts are mandatory, neither can be skipped, and dismissing either one counts as no. Itero records how consent was obtained and the exact moment it was confirmed alongside every recording, stored on the device, so the rep has their own record if one is ever needed.
