When enabled by the user, it detects when user-selected apps are opened so AddictionOS can display a recovery reminder, intervention, craving-support screen, or app-blocking experience configured by the user. The service is optional, requires consent, and can be disabled in Android settings. AddictionOS does not use AccessibilityService to read passwords, private messages, financial information, or unrelated personal content; perform actions without the user’s knowledge; change device settings without permission; bypass Android security controls; or collect data for advertising. Accessibility information is used only for the recovery and app-blocking features requested by the user. PRIVACY, AI, AND SAFETY Your recovery information is private by default. Community participation is optional. The AI Recovery Coach provides motivational and educational support and does not replace professional care or emergency services.
