Map Gallery: Photo Map

Rediscover your memories by place. Map Gallery organizes photos and videos on a map, so you can explore the locations behind your camera roll without manually sorting albums. EXPLORE YOUR PHOTO MAP See location-tagged media grouped on Google Maps. Zoom in to explore clusters and tap a count to browse the photos from that area. Photos without location data remain available in your library and can be assigned a location in the app. BROWSE AND RELIVE Browse thumbnails by date or view favorites together. Open photos full screen, swipe between them, and pinch to zoom. Play videos with a seek bar, scrub to inspect individual frames, and step frame by frame while paused. FIND WHAT YOU WANT Filter by source, date range, media type, favorites, and whether an item has location data. Source labels are estimates based on available folders and metadata and may not always be accurate. ORGANIZE LOCATION AND DATE Select multiple items to change or restore the date and time or location used inside Map Gallery. These changes are saved in the app's local index; they do not edit the original media files. YOUR MEDIA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE Original photos and videos and their library metadata are not uploaded to the developer's server. The app scans and indexes your library locally. When you use sharing, the selected media is handed to the app you choose. Google Maps requires an internet connection and may process map requests and related technical data under Google's policies. PERMISSIONS Photo and video access lets you browse your library; limited access shows only the items you selected. Photo-location access lets the app read embedded capture locations. Current device location is optional and helps choose an initial map position. You can browse the map without granting current-location access. Items without GPS are not automatically placed on the map. Map Gallery is a local-first way to find your memories—by the places that matter.
