Full description
CivStruct Toolbox is a mobile engineering toolbox for civil and structural engineers and engineering students who need convenient access to practical engineering calculations on their phones and tablets. The current version focuses on calculating geometric properties for common cross-sectional geometries. Practical Engineering Calculations • Calculate section properties without opening desktop engineering software or separate spreadsheets. • Quickly verify section properties while reviewing dimensions or comparing section geometries. • Compare calculated geometric properties for different section shapes using a clear mobile workflow. • Check section property calculations while studying, completing coursework, or working through practice problems. Section Property Calculators The current version includes eight section property calculators covering different section shapes. Each calculator provides geometric properties applicable to the selected section and presents the calculated results in a clear, organized format. • Calculate section properties for Rectangular, Circular, Hollow Circular, T-Section, I-Section, L-Section, C-Section, and Z-Section geometries. • Calculate geometric properties such as area, centroid location, moments of inertia, section moduli, and radii of gyration, as applicable to the selected geometry. • Review relevant calculated properties together in a clearly organized results section. Designed for Engineers and Students CivStruct Toolbox is designed around a clear calculation workflow for practicing civil and structural engineers and engineering students. Its mobile-friendly interface keeps dimension inputs, engineering units, and calculated results organized and easy to review. • Choose between Metric, Imperial, and Custom engineering unit settings. • Set engineering unit preferences that remain saved after the app is closed and reopened. • Use clearly labeled dimension inputs, unit indicators, and organized calculation results. • Receive input validation and error feedback when calculation requirements are not satisfied. • Choose between light and dark themes for a comfortable viewing experience. How the Calculators Work Each section property calculator follows a consistent workflow for entering dimensions and reviewing calculated results. • Select a section geometry from the available Section Properties calculators. • Enter the required dimension values using clearly labeled input fields and unit indicators. • Tap Calculate to view the applicable section properties for the selected geometry. Free and Premium Calculators The current version provides access to three free Section Properties calculators, while five additional section calculators are displayed as Premium features and remain locked. • Use the Rectangular, Circular, and Hollow Circular section calculators free of charge. • The T-Section, I-Section, L-Section, C-Section, and Z-Section calculators are displayed as Premium features and remain locked. • Additional engineering calculation tools are planned for future versions of CivStruct Toolbox. For Professionals and Students CivStruct Toolbox is intended for civil and structural engineers who need convenient access to section property calculations during their engineering work, as well as engineering students checking calculations while studying, completing coursework, or working through practice problems. It provides a mobile reference for calculating and reviewing geometric section properties on phones and tablets. Important: CivStruct Toolbox is an engineering calculation aid. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, independent verification of results, applicable design codes, industry standards, or project-specific requirements.

What's new
