Full description
Count reps without looking at your wrist. Gym Watch runs entirely on your Wear OS watch and automatically counts your reps and detects your sets while you lift — no phone and no internet needed. Start a workout, put your wrist through the movement, and Gym Watch tracks it for you: • Automatic rep counting — the on-watch motion detector counts reps as you go. • Automatic set detection — sets start and end on their own, Garmin-style, or stop and save manually whenever you want. • Learns your exercises — label an exercise once and Gym Watch remembers it, so your curls, presses, and raises get recognized next time. • Heart rate while you lift — switch Heart rate on in Settings and the watch's own sensor shows your live BPM on the workout screen, then saves the average, maximum and minimum heart rate and the calories burned with each workout in History. It is off by default, and everything else works without it. • Optional Google Health sync — send each finished strength workout (duration, calories and average heart rate) to your Google Health profile, so your lifting counts toward your daily activity next to your other workouts. Off by default. • Rest timer with a haptic nudge — a buzz on your wrist tells you when rest is over, so you never have to watch the clock. • Workout history — every set, rep count, and rest interval is saved on the watch. • Optional backup & sync — sign in with your Google account (one tap, no password) to back up workout summaries and see them on your other watches. Entirely optional. • Fully standalone — installs and runs on the watch by itself; your phone can stay in the locker. • Private by design — no account is needed and your training data stays on your watch. Raw sensor recordings never leave it. If you sign in, only workout summaries (exercises, sets, reps, weights) are backed up, and you can delete your cloud data in-app at any time. Gym Watch does its rep and set detection on-device with classical signal processing — detection needs no cloud, so it works offline anywhere, from the squat rack to a hotel gym. Built for strength training, weightlifting, and resistance workouts: dumbbells, barbells, cables, and machines. Perfect for anyone who wants an automatic rep counter and set tracker on their wrist without pulling out a phone or tapping through an app mid-set. Heart rate and calories are recorded for your own training log only. Gym Watch is a fitness app, not a medical device. Note: Gym Watch is an early release and improves with every update. Rep and set detection accuracy varies by exercise and movement style.

What's new

Redesigned workout menu: it now opens on your exercises, one card each with reps and weights, and Finish and Discard confirm in a dialog. Past the rest target, the dial shows your total rest. More reliable set detection: a tempo correction no longer splits one set in two, a flickering count no longer loses a finished set, and if you ignore an automatic review, your next set is still counted.
