FarmLuma: My Farm Records

FarmLuma is My Farm in your pocket: a simple farm record book for farmers who want to know where their money goes and what their farm really earns. Record your farm as you work. Every entry is saved on your phone first and synced when you have network, so a day in the field without signal is never lost. WHAT YOU CAN DO • My farm and plots – add each farm and its plots, mark them on the map or with your phone's location. • Crops and livestock – log field work: planting, spraying, feeding, harvests, and what is due next. Close a season when the crop is harvested. • Costs and income – record every cost and every sale, with a photo of the receipt if you have one. • Inputs – keep your own store of seed, fertiliser and feed, and see what you used. • Labour – your workers, what each one did, and what you owe them. Give a worker their own sign-in. • Budget – plan a crop and see planned against actual. • Did I make money? – profit per crop and per season, in plain numbers. • Market prices and weather for your own farm, with what they mean for you. • Problem checks and advice – describe what you see on a crop or animal and get guidance. • Reports – a clean farm report to show a lender, a buyer or your cooperative. YOUR RECORDS STAY YOURS Nothing is shared with anyone unless you allow it in the app, and you can withdraw that permission at any time. You can close your account from the app. SIGN IN WITH YOUR PHONE No password to remember: enter your phone number and the code we send by SMS. ENGLISH AND KISWAHILI Use FarmLuma in English or Kiswahili. FarmLuma is made by FPOBox, the system used by farmer cooperatives and producer organisations in Kenya. If your cooperative uses FPOBox, your My Farm records work there too.
