Dirty Hands Toolbox

Dirty Hands Toolbox: The Ultimate Digital Build Sheet Stop searching through greasy manuals, scattered forum threads, and faded receipts. Whether you’re building a rock crawler, restoring a classic, or maintaining your daily driver, Dirty Hands Toolbox is the rugged, offline-first app designed to track every nut, bolt, and torque spec on your vehicle. Built for builders, this is more than just an offline maintenance log,—it’s a comprehensive digital blueprint of your entire machine. OFFLINE-FIRST FOR THE TRAIL AND GARAGE We know that the best work happens where the Wi-Fi doesn't reach. Dirty Hands Toolbox works entirely offline. Your data is stored locally on your device, ensuring you have instant access to critical specs whether you’re under the hood in your garage or trailside in the middle of nowhere. TRACK ASSEMBLIES & COMPONENTS Stop losing track of what’s actually on your vehicle. Our hierarchical system allows you to organize your build exactly how it’s put together: • Top-Level Assemblies: Group your parts by major systems like Drivetrain, Engine, Suspension, or Accessories. • Sub-Assemblies: Break things down further. Log your "Front Axle" under Drivetrain, or "Cylinder Head" under Engine. • Components: Add specific parts with brand names, part numbers, purchase dates, and prices. • Flexible Organization: Easily convert a simple part into a full assembly when your build gets more complex. HARDWARE SPECS & TORQUE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS Never second-guess a torque spec again. For every component, you can log: • Bolt Thread & Length: Know exactly what hardware you need before you head to the store. • Tool Requirements: Log socket sizes (10mm, anyone?) and wrench types. • Torque Specs: Keep your critical fasteners safe and accurate. • Thread Locker: Note where you need Blue, Red, or anti-seize. COMPLETE MAINTENANCE LOGGING Keep your machine running at peak performance. Track recurring tasks like oil changes, fluid flushes, and filter replacements. • Custom Intervals: Set maintenance schedules by months or mileage. • Service History: Log every service with dates, mileage, and costs. • Automatic Reminders: See "Due Soon" or "Overdue" statuses at a glance based on your current odometer. SCAN TO LOOKUP Use your phone’s camera to scan VIN barcodes or part numbers. Instantly jump to the specs for that specific part or verify your vehicle details without typing a single character.
