Full description

Fieldsworn is a property inspection service for insurance carriers. This app is the tool our field representatives use to do that work. IT IS NOT A PUBLIC APP. Accounts are issued by Fieldsworn to our own inspectors and cannot be created here or anywhere else. If you do not have one, there is nothing in this app for you. WHAT A REPRESENTATIVE DOES WITH IT • See the day's route — stops in visiting order, on a list or a map, with the rest of the week's work alongside it. • Clock in and out. Hours are recorded against the shift, and location is captured at the punch as context, never as continuous tracking. • Capture the required photographs. Every photo records where and when it was taken, at the moment it is taken. • Record findings — construction, condition, measurements — and draw the building outline the estimate is measured from. • Log mileage from the odometer at the end of the day. • Hand-deliver a required notice when one happens to be near the route, and photograph it in place as evidence. BUILT FOR A PHONE IN A VAN Work continues without a signal. Drafts, photographs and findings are held on the device and upload themselves when the connection comes back — a basement with no bars does not cost anyone their morning's work. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No advertising. No analytics. No tracking of any kind, and no third-party tracking software. The app does not use the microphone and holds no audio permission. Location is requested only in the foreground, at three moments — taking a photograph, clocking in or out, and delivering a notice — and the app knows nothing about anyone's whereabouts when it is closed. PERMISSIONS Camera — taking the inspection photographs, which is the job. Location — recording where a photo, a punch or a delivery happened. Notifications — route assignments and job updates.
