MyScan ExitUnit is a purpose-built application for MyScan exit units in retail stores. It displays a fullscreen QR code that customers scan to complete their self-checkout journey. Key features: - Fullscreen QR code display optimized for dedicated hardware - Automatic QR code refresh based on server-provided expiry times - Offline resilience with cached QR codes for uninterrupted operation - Brand customization through central configuration & customization (CCC), including theme colors, store logo, and background image - Live config updates via WebSocket — no app restart needed - Multi-language support (English, Swedish, Dutch) with automatic locale detection - Zero-touch deployment via MDM/EMM managed configurations (AppConfig) - Automatic OCMS device registration and token management Designed for always-on, shopper-facing displays. The app silently handles network interruptions, token refreshes, and configuration changes without showing errors to customers. IMPORTANT: Managed configuration is required. This app is intended for enterprise deployment through an MDM/EMM solution and is not designed for standalone consumer use.
