Lekha — Bill Ledger

Lekha is a simple, document-backed bill ledger for Indian MSME manufacturers — workshops that buy raw materials, make finished parts, and sell to large, slow-paying buyers. It answers two questions, in plain language: • Money In (paisa aana) — what your buyers owe you • Money Out (paisa dena) — what you owe your suppliers and your team MONEY IN (sell side) Run every bill against a buyer purchase order: PO → delivery challan → tax invoice → payment. The PO holds the agreed rate and quantity, so every document is priced correctly and never over-billed. Month-end challans consolidate into one GST tax invoice, and an MSME 45-day age clock flags overdue bills. MONEY OUT (buy side) Issue your own purchase orders to suppliers, then record their invoice against the PO — quantity and rate prefilled — which books the bill into Payables and moves raw material into stock. ALSO TRACKS • Stock on hand per part, updated from your own documents • Employee attendance, turned into an auto-calculated monthly salary payable • Miscellaneous income and expense, to complete the cash picture • GST-ready challans, tax invoices, e-way bills and e-invoices through an authorised provider Lekha records what your documents say and tracks money status.
