Dynamic Mosaic

Dynamic Mosaic - a fast observation puzzle built around a grid of nearly identical tiles in a jester-themed style. Each round fills the screen with copies of one picture, such as a jester card, a red gem, an hourglass, a medal or a golden star, and exactly one tile differs from the others by a small detail: a slight tilt, a smaller size, a shifted color tone, a dimmer shade or a tiny gem attached to one corner. A tap on the odd tile completes the round, shows a golden burst over it and adds points, and the points grow with the round number and with the time still left on the clock. A tap on a matching tile removes a second and a half from the round timer, briefly fades that tile, shakes the field and gives a short vibration. The timer bar at the top of the screen empties during each round and turns red when a quarter of the time remains, and the game ends as soon as it reaches zero. Every new round brings a denser grid, starting from three columns and expanding up to seven columns with many rows, while the difference becomes less noticeable and the time for each round gets slightly shorter. The round number and the current score stay visible above the field, and a pause button freezes the timer and opens a panel with resume, restart and menu options. The final screen shows the score of the game, the best score and the last round reached. A statistics panel in the menu keeps the number of games played, the best score, the average and total score, the top round, the number of found tiles, the number of wrong taps and the accuracy in percent, and all of it is kept across launches. The settings panel contains vibration and visual effects switches, three difficulty levels with a longer or shorter round timer, a reset for the best score and a full reset of the saved statistics. A separate rules panel describes the flow of a round in a few short lines.
