DG Vault

DG Vault keeps the dangerous goods shipping record with the load. The office issues it or the driver starts it from a template, the driver carries it, and a first responder reaches it from the unit number. Built for Canadian road transport under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations. For drivers - Your assigned loads in one list, with the goods, the unit and the status of each. - Start a record from your company's template with no document to scan: bulk propane, propane cylinders or bulk fuel. - Bulk propane: enter the litres loaded, record each delivery with the invoice number, liquid temperature and PRV inspection, and watch the declining balance on the bobtail. - Propane cylinders: count full cylinders delivered and residue cylinders picked up at each stop, with the propane on board worked out for you, and reconcile at the yard. - Bulk fuel: compartments per tank, each with its own product and litres, and an off-load from the compartment it came out of. - Record a stop where nothing was delivered as No off-load, with the invoice number. - Recipient's name and signature at each delivery, when your company asks for it. - Placarding requirements for the load as it is now, from TDG Part 4, with the signs drawn. - The daily emergency shutdown system test, recorded before the first load. - The shipping document as a PDF, in English or French, with a QR code for the roadside. - Your TDG training certificate on your phone, with its expiry. - Works offline: deliveries and stops are kept on the device and sent when you are back in coverage. For the office - Records, units, templates, PRV information, safety data sheets and equivalency certificates in the DG Vault web app at app.dgvault.ca. - Each company sets its own template rules: signature at every delivery, temperatures, PRV, negative balance, placard reminder, emergency shutdown test, and its own 24-hour number and ERAP details. - Every delivery, pick-up and return stays on the record with who, when and how much. An issued record is never deleted. For first responders - Text the unit number to the DG Vault number, or look it up in HM Intel, and get the dangerous goods on board, the quantity remaining, the 24-hour number and the shipping document.
