Full description
Ritual timing done properly, in one app you buy once Every traditional rite, spell and working has its proper hour, and that hour is not on your wall clock. Wiccan Planetary Hours Clock computes the true planetary hours from the real sunrise and sunset at your exact GPS position, shows you the full astrological chart for every one of them, and alerts you to the eight festivals at their exact astronomical moment. No other app brings all three together, and none does it for a single one-time purchase with no subscription, no hidden fees and no ads. WHAT YOU GET • True planetary hours: all 24 hours of the current magical day, each with its exact start time, length and ruling planet, computed live from the real sunrise and sunset where you stand. Hour lengths change with the season and your latitude, as the tradition requires. • Master of the day and master of the hour: always on the main screen, so one glance tells you which planet governs the moment. • Festival alerts, astronomically exact: the eight festivals of the Wheel of the Year (Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon, Samhain and Yule) are computed from the Sun's true position in the zodiac, not copied from a fixed calendar. Each festival is shown with its Roman counterpart, Samhain with Pomonalia, Yule with Saturnalia. Switch alerts on once and the app notifies you the day before each festival with its exact local time, then keeps the schedule rolling year after year. Names follow your hemisphere automatically. • Festivals list: the next eight festivals with their exact date and time, whenever you need it. • A full chart for every hour: Ascendant, Midheaven, the 12 Placidus houses, all 10 planets with retrograde markers, and the aspects in force, both for the present instant (Real Time Monitor) and for the start of any planetary hour. Choose the right hour by what the sky is actually doing, not by the ruler alone. • Moon phase: the current lunar phase with its name and image. • Home-screen widget: the current planetary hour with its ruler and end time, the days to the next festival and today's moon phase, always in view. • Time travel: pick any date and time, past or future, and the whole app runs from that moment, hours, chart and festivals included. • Seven languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese and Korean. • Private and offline: everything is computed on your phone with the Swiss Ephemeris. No account, no internet connection, and your position never leaves the device. BUY ONCE, OWN IT One price, paid once. No subscription, no weekly or yearly plan, no "pro" tier, no in-app purchases, no ads. Every feature is included today, and so is every future update. We think a tool for your practice should belong to you. HOW THE MAGIC HOURS WORK In the magical tradition the day does not begin at midnight, and an hour is not sixty minutes. The day begins at sunrise. Daylight is divided into 12 equal parts and the night into 12 more, so in summer the day hours are long and the night hours short, and in winter the reverse. Each hour is ruled by a planet in the ancient Chaldean order (Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon), starting from the ruler of the weekday: the Sun on Sunday, the Moon on Monday, Mars on Tuesday, Mercury on Wednesday, Jupiter on Thursday, Venus on Friday and Saturn on Saturday. Doing this correctly requires the precise sunrise and sunset for your own location, every day, which is exactly what this app does, wherever you are. GOOD TO KNOW • The app needs location access to compute sunrise and sunset. The position is used only on the device. • After midnight you are still in the previous magical day, until the next sunrise. Day hours run from sunrise to sunset, night hours from sunset to sunrise. • Festival alerts use Android notifications; on Android 13 and later you will be asked for permission the first time you switch them on. Made by DFT Games for practitioners who take timing seriously.

What's new

New: the Wheel of the Year. A dial with the eight festivals around the rim, each with its Celtic and Roman names and exact date, the zodiac inside, and a gold marker for the Sun on the date shown, today or any date you travel to. Solstices and equinoxes sit on the sign boundaries, cross-quarter days mid-sign; the wheel turns for the southern hemisphere. Open it from More. Fixed: the in-app update prompt from Google Play now appears when a new version is out. One purchase, no ads.
