Full description
Your phone clock and the ticket server are never quite the same clock. That gap is why you tap at exactly 10:00:00 and still land three hundred people back in the queue. TapZero is a reaction time trainer and countdown timer for the moments where one second decides it. It measures how fast you actually are, drills the exact instant you have to hit, and counts you down to zero with colour, sound and vibration at the same time. TRAIN • Reaction — the screen flips colour, you tap. Five tries a round. Tapping early is recorded as a miss, because that is the habit that costs you a seat. • Hit zero — watch a countdown and tap exactly at zero. Your error is kept with its sign, so you learn whether you go early or late, not just that you were off. • Captcha — type a random string against the clock. This is the step that quietly eats three seconds after the sale opens. Every round gives an average, a best, and a grade from S to D. COUNT DOWN • Enter a target time down to the second. • The big number is not the time left until your target. It is the time left until you should tap. TapZero moves the signal earlier by your own measured reaction time, so tapping at zero lands you on the target. • Colour, beep and vibration fire together. The countdown still works with the phone face down or the volume off, and you can test all three from Settings before the day arrives. • The popup timer floats over your browser while you wait in the queue. It opens instantly. No ad, no waiting. REMEMBER • Add the events you are getting ready for and see the days left on the home screen and in the home screen widget. • Morning and evening reminders at times you choose, with a quiet hours window so nothing wakes you. • A seven day chart of your best reaction time, and a share card when you beat it. ONE HONEST THING TapZero does not read any server's clock, and it does not connect to any ticketing or registration site. It shows your device clock plus an offset you set yourself: open an accurate clock on another screen, tap along with it three times, and the app keeps the middle value. It takes ten seconds, and you can skip it entirely — everything still works. Nothing about that calibration ever leaves your phone. This is a practice and reference tool. It cannot guarantee a ticket. It can make sure your hand is not the reason you missed one. OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT No sign-up, no login, no server, no subscription. Your drills, records, events and settings live on your device only. Turn on aeroplane mode and the timer still counts. MADE FOR Concert, musical and sports ticket sales. University course registration. Limited sneaker and merch drops. Exam sign-ups. Flash sales. Anywhere a millisecond of tap timing decides between a seat and a waiting list. COMMON QUESTIONS Does it show the server time? No. TapZero does not fetch server time from anywhere. It shows your device clock plus an offset you set yourself. Every ticketing site runs its own server anyway, so there is no single server time that is correct for all of them. Knowing your own reaction time and tapping that much earlier is the more reliable move. Can I use it for course registration? Yes. University course registration is the same tap fight as a ticket sale. The hit-zero drill and the countdown work exactly the same way. Can I just practise without the countdown? Yes. The three drills — reaction, hit zero, captcha — run any time from the Train tab. All of them are free, with nothing locked behind an ad or a purchase. Does it need an internet connection? No. When the network is congested during a ticket queue, TapZero is unaffected. The app itself never uses the network. Free, with ads. Ads never appear while a drill is running, on the captcha screen, in the final seconds of a countdown, or in the popup timer — the exact moments where a stray tap would cost you the thing you have been practising for.
