DESIGNED TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY TapZero uses a calm, minimal interface instead of adding another complicated productivity system to your day. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE On Android, TapZero uses the AccessibilityService API as part of its core app-blocking functionality. During an active focus session, the Accessibility Service is used to detect which app is currently in the foreground. If the user opens an app that they previously selected for blocking, TapZero displays its blocking screen. The Accessibility Service is used only for this purpose. TapZero does not use it to read messages, passwords, typed text, personal communications or the content displayed inside other apps. Information required for this functionality is processed locally on the device and is not sold or shared with third parties. TapZero only uses the Accessibility Service after the user has been shown an in-app disclosure, has explicitly agreed to it and has manually enabled TapZero in the Android Accessibility settings. The service can be disabled again at any time in the Android system settings.
