CrateCore is a vinyl collector app with three things in one place: a catalog for your record collection, practical tools for your turntable, and a short story about music every day. YOUR RECORD COLLECTION • Scan the barcode on a sleeve to add a record, or search by catalog number • Vinyl records, CDs, and cassettes in one catalog • A wishlist for the records you are still hunting for • Goldmine condition grading, price, and notes for every copy • Offline search: standing at a crate in a record shop, check in seconds whether you already own that pressing • "Shelf in numbers": your collection by decade, format, grade, and artist • Import an existing collection from a Discogs CSV export • Export your data at any time TURNTABLE TOOLS • Speed check: lay the phone flat on the platter and CrateCore estimates the RPM from the gyroscope, then shows the deviation from 33⅓ or 45 and how steady the speed stayed. It's an estimate from a phone sensor, not a calibrated instrument. • Strobe disc: print it at 100% scale and check the speed the classic way, under a lamp plugged into a wall outlet. • Cartridge tracker: log a side, a whole album, or an exact listening time and see how many hours your stylus has played. • Room geometry: a starting point for placing your speakers. It's a geometry guide, not an acoustic measurement. • My setup: one card for your turntable, cartridge, phono stage, and amplifier. VISUALIZER Classic analog VU meters or a spectrum view, both moving with the music in the room, whether it's vinyl, CD, cassette, or streaming. The microphone is used only while the visualizer is on. Audio is processed on the device and is never recorded or sent anywhere.
