Full description
Your record collection OS: in store, at home, in the car, anywhere. And there's a snarky AI clerk in the passenger seat. Most AI assistants give you the consensus answer. The Clerk gives you an opinion, the same way the guy behind the counter at the record store would. He reads your record collection, your liner notes, your pressing data, and tells you what he actually thinks. He is a smart aleck about it. That is a feature, not a bug. And he speaks your language: the Clerk chat, the album commentary, and the artist write-ups are all localized, not just the menu labels. One shelf holds your whole record collection: vinyl, CDs, tapes, and streaming on top. Import your vinyl collection from Discogs in one click, upload a spreadsheet, or scan your way in with the barcode scanner. Discogs sync runs two-way, your way: read-only by default, full lockstep when you flip it on. Your vinyl collection and your digital library sit side by side, organized the way your brain already does it. IN THE STORE Scan it in the shop. Own it already? The built-in barcode scanner checks any record against your collection in one second, then pulls the pressing, the deadwax, the personnel, and the going price. Hear a song crackling overhead? Gatefold listens and IDs it on the spot. Crate Digger Mode keeps your whole vinyl collection and wantlist in your pocket, offline, for the basement dollar bin. The barcode scanner works with no signal. AT HOME Prop any spare screen by the hi-fi and Marquee turns it into a now playing display: album art, facts, lore, social sharing, and your cartridge wear hours, all live. Track the stylus hours on every turntable as the needle rides. The now playing display is free on every plan, with no album cap. And scrobble your heart out: Gatefold is a Last.fm scrobbler that actually knows what is on your shelf. IN THE CAR Driving Mode puts the Clerk on the aux: hands on the wheel, clerk on the aux. Ask for a record, a deep cut, or something good for this drive, and he answers by voice. Driving Mode reads your phone telemetry and shifts the music to keep you alert or calm, then grades the drive like an album. NERD OUT Every pressing, every credit, down to the deadwax. The BPM of every track. See all the Bob Ludwig cuts on your shelf, the artists you have completed, a career arc from debut to sellout, and your whole record collection graded and graphed. THE CLERK IS ON THE RECORD "I see you've got three Ween albums but no Chocolate and Cheese? That's like building a house and forgetting the roof. 'Voodoo Lady' alone justifies the purchase. Get on that." Every recommendation anchors to a real connection: a shared producer, a session player, a label-mate, a sample. Never payola, never "similar vibes." FREE WORKS FOREVER GA Seating is free forever: full collection sync, the daily Spin of the Day, The Hunt alerts, the barcode scanner, Marquee, Driving Mode, and a Clerk on a monthly Quarters allowance who will still make fun of you for free. The Mosh Pit ($5/mo or $50/yr) sets the machine to FREE PLAY: unlimited everything, a smarter Clerk, pressing pages with selling trends, multiple Discogs accounts, one-click sync to Apple Music or Tidal. No ads. No data mining. Indie-built. All photos in app come from photos taken by users. Discogs sync. A now playing display for any spare screen. A scrobbler that knows your shelf. Your record collection, finally in one place, with a clerk who reads the back-cover credits.

What's new

Faster and sturdier: • Faster startup, with less waiting when you open the app. • Offline improvements: on a shared phone, each account now sees only its own collection, and signing out keeps your records private. • Performance improvements throughout.
