Chordium

Chordium is an offline reference: chords, scales and intervals at a glance. • Chords — 16 chords • Scales & modes — 16 scales • Intervals — 13 intervals • Glossary — 19 terms • Quiz — questions built from the same entries • Favorites — keep the entries you return to Every entry has a short summary line and a few paragraphs of description. Search works inside each section. Nothing is downloaded: all 45 entries ship inside the app and work without a connection. Chordium collects the building blocks of Western harmony in one place: the common chord types with their formulas and example spellings, the major and minor scales together with the seven modes and the most used symmetrical and pentatonic scales, and all thirteen intervals from unison to octave with their sound, inversion and typical role. A glossary covers the terms that tie these ideas together, from tonic and cadence to voicing and modulation. Entries were compiled from standard music-theory teaching material and cross-checked against the arithmetic of the twelve-tone system, so every formula, interval count and note spelling can be verified on a keyboard. All examples use C or A as the reference note. This app is a reference for study and quick lookup; it does not replace ear training or a course in harmony.
