LOGIT

LOGIT (Location-Optimized Guidance & Information Tool) is a digital logistics operating platform built to transform cross-border transport across Africa. Designed specifically for the realities of African trade corridors, LOGIT turns a truck driver’s mobile phone into an interactive tracking, communication and information-sharing tool — providing real-time visibility not only of truck location, but also cargo movement, operational milestones and supply chain events across borders, terminals and delivery points. Africa’s logistics ecosystem remains highly fragmented, manual and dependent on paper-based workflows, with limited visibility across third-party operations such as border crossings, ports, loading terminals and warehouses. These inefficiencies create delays, disputes, congestion, hidden costs and operational blind spots for transporters, clearing agents, terminal operators and cargo owners. LOGIT addresses these challenges through a purpose-built digital operating layer designed for long-distance and cross-border freight. The platform enables: * Real-time truck and cargo visibility across transport corridors * Digital documentation and shipment records to reduce paperwork and errors * QR-based operational workflows for gate entry, loading verification and movement tracking * Border and terminal coordination through real-time updates and workflow visibility * Driver performance tracking and accountability systems through digital trip records and ratings * Fleet and operations management tools for transporters and logistics operators * Warehouse, terminal and border integration capabilities to streamline cargo movement * Automated alerts and notifications to reduce delays and improve coordination LOGIT serves a broad logistics ecosystem including transport companies, truck drivers, border and clearing agents, terminals, warehouses, importers, exporters and cargo owners. Initially focused on Southern African trade corridors such as the Beira, Maputo, Dar es Salaam, Walvis Bay and Durban Corridors, LOGIT aims to become the digital operating infrastructure for Africa’s cross-border logistics network. By digitizing fragmented logistics workflows and enabling real-time operational transparency, LOGIT improves visibility, accountability, efficiency and decision-making across the supply chain — helping move Africa toward a smarter, more connected logistics future.
