A healthy level of caution can help you stay safe, but excessive suspicion can prevent you from fully enjoying life. Constantly questioning other people's motives, avoiding new friendships, or assuming the worst in everyday situations can lead to unnecessary stress and missed opportunities. STOP (Wellbeing version) helps you change unwanted suspicious thinking, encouraging you to see challenging everyday situations differently. Read short scenarios that can be interpreted in different ways. Then complete easy word games and questions to help open your mind to more trusting ways of thinking. Work through 6 sessions at your own pace (one session per week recommended). Each session unlocks once the previous one is completed. Developed by researchers at King's College London, STOP is an evidence-based tool that has been tested in NHS and related settings. STOP includes validated wellbeing questionnaires allowing you to track your progress over time to see if the app is helping you. STOP (Wellbeing version) is intended to enhance your wellbeing. It does not provide medical treatment or diagnosis and is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
