Full description
KidSpy: Parental Control, Screen Time, Tasks & Rewards KidSpy is a family-friendly parental control app that helps parents manage screen time, assign chores and tasks, and motivate kids with rewards. Build healthier digital habits at home with clear rules, daily routines, and positive reinforcement. If you want a screen time app for kids that supports responsibility, balance, and family routines, KidSpy gives you practical parental tools in one simple app. AccessibilityService API — transparency (required disclosure) KidSpy uses the Android AccessibilityService API on the child’s device as part of parent-managed screen time and app restrictions. Specifically, AccessibilityService is used to detect when restricted apps open during active parental limits so KidSpy can enforce those limits (for example, by returning to the home screen and showing KidSpy’s lock/limit screen when a restricted app is launched while limits apply). KidSpy does not use AccessibilityService to change settings without permission, bypass Android privacy controls or notifications, record phone calls or remote audio, or alter the interface in a deceptive way. AccessibilityService is not used as a substitute for narrower APIs where those are sufficient for other features; it is used where Android requires this capability for consistent enforcement of parental limits on foreground apps during locked periods. Video demonstration (AccessibilityService-related functionality) Watch how KidSpy’s parental controls work on device, including enforcement tied to AccessibilityService: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/PwLYvTawuvA Parents and guardians should review this explanation together with in-app disclosures before enabling AccessibilityService on the child's device. Why parents choose KidSpy • Screen time control that works • Set daily screen time limits and help children build healthier phone habits with clear, consistent rules. • Chores, tasks, and accountability • Assign chores, homework, and daily responsibilities. Add due dates, notes, and reward minutes to keep expectations clear. • Rewards kids understand • Turn completed tasks into earned screen time and bonus minutes. • Encourage responsibility with positive motivation. • Designed for families • KidSpy includes parent and child flows to make family management simple, transparent, and easy to follow. Key features • Parental controls for screen time • Set daily screen time limits • Encourage healthy device habits • Support consistent family rules • Reduce unnecessary screen time conflicts • Task management for kids • Create and assign chores • Add homework and daily responsibilities • Set due dates and notes • Add reward minutes for task completion • Track task progress easily Submissions and approvals Children can submit proof for completed tasks -> Parents review submissions -> Approve or reject tasks with clarity -> Improve accountability at home Rewards system Earn bonus minutes through completed tasks -> Positive reinforcement -> Turn routines into progress and rewards Use cases KidSpy helps families manage kids’ screen time, reduce gaming or YouTube overuse, build routines with chores and rewards, encourage focus during study time, improve responsibility with clear tasks, and create a calmer digital environment at home. Android permissions note Screen time and parental control features on Android may require permissions such as AccessibilityService, usage access, or overlays, only to deliver the parental controls and limits configured by the parent. KidSpy explains sensitive permissions in the app before they are enabled and does not use AccessibilityService outside disclosed parental-control functionality. Privacy and transparency KidSpy is built for family use with parental involvement. The app includes privacy and terms screens so parents and children can understand how it works.
