Every day a new fraud case lands on your desk. The records are raw and nothing is highlighted: no warning icons, no "suspicious" labels, just ledgers, invoices, approvals, payroll runs, bank statements and access logs. Somewhere in there, money left the company. Find it, prove it, name the scheme. Fraud Simulator is a detective game about white collar crime. Instead of a crime scene you get a case file, and instead of fingerprints you follow the money. It turns the reasoning of a forensic accountant, an auditor or a fraud analyst into an investigation you can solve in about ten minutes, and teaches you to recognize fraud: the patterns, the red flags and the control that would have stopped it. HOW AN INVESTIGATION WORKS • Start with a brief and a limited budget of moves. Every record you request costs a move, so choosing what to read is part of the investigation. • Mark the rows and fields you would question. A clean record flagged by mistake costs points. • Pin marked records to the evidence board and connect two of them: same counterparty, same approver, either side of an approval threshold. Fraud shows up between two records, not inside one. • File the accusation: who did it, which scheme, how much was taken, and the evidence that proves it. • The server scores your accusation out of 100 and grades you from Trainee to Senior Investigator.
