Welcome to New Hudson, a cheerful little toy town where everyone has a home, a family and a job to get to. The kids are in school, the shops are open and the police are on patrol. Until you decide enough is enough! Protocol Z is a zombie outbreak sandbox. Watch from above as the town's all-seeing gamemaker, or drop into the streets as any single person in it and fight to stay alive. Every outbreak plays out differently, and every resident has a life worth saving, or losing. A TOWN THAT LIVES ITS OWN LIFE • Every house is home to a real family: parents, kids and their daily routines • Adults head off to work early while kids go to school • Residents drive their own cars through the streets, refuel and get repairs at the mechanic shop • Police officers patrol, arrest troublemakers and drive them to jail • Soldiers on the military base build barricades piece by piece when danger arrives • Doctors run the hospital, and workers keep the shops, offices and downtown towers busy • A cargo harbour, a hotel with its own football field, elevators, street lights and a working power grid bring the town to life UNLEASH THE OUTBREAK • Start an infection and watch it spread from one street to the next • Zombies chase down anyone they spot and bash through doors, fences, walls and roofs to reach them • They climb onto car roofs, pour in through windows and swarm whoever is left • The fallen rise again looking just like they did in life, so your neighbours become the horde • Watch huge hordes flood the streets as the town fights back TAKE CONTROL OF ANYONE • Possess any human in town and play in first person • Every resident can pick up a weapon and fight; everyone you don't control keeps living by their own AI • Arm survivors, defend a house, hold the police station or make a run for the base • Board up windows, shoot out the lights and hide in the dark • Flip the power off and see who survives the night GOD MODE • Watch the whole town from above and follow any resident's story • Use god powers to help the survivors, or to tip the odds toward the horde • Start the outbreak wherever you like and see how long New Hudson can last A WORLD YOU CAN BREAK • Fences, walls, doors, roofs and light fixtures can be smashed or shot apart • Debris scatters as zombies tear their way inside • No two outbreaks end the same way PLAY WITH FRIENDS • One player hosts as the town's gamemaker and runs the outbreak • Friends each pick a resident and try to survive in first person • Work together, split up or race to the safest building in town BUILT FOR MOBILE • Clean, modern touch controls and an easy-to-read HUD • Bright, colourful toy-town visuals • Designed to run smoothly while the whole town is on screen Will the police hold the line?
