Contraction Timer & Counter

MamaPulse is a simple contraction timer and contraction counter for late pregnancy and labor. Tap once when a contraction starts and again when it ends. MamaPulse logs how long each one lasted and how far apart your contractions are, so you are not counting on your fingers or scribbling notes while you breathe through them. In labor it is hard to keep track. Was that one 40 seconds or 90? Are they getting closer together? MamaPulse keeps a running log of each one and shows your recent frequency and duration at a glance. It also compares your log with the 5-1-1 pattern – contractions about 5 minutes apart, lasting about 1 minute, for about 1 hour – a rule of thumb many care providers mention. Your doctor or midwife may give you a different rule, and their instructions always come first. YOUR DATA Your contraction log is stored on your phone. It is not uploaded to our servers and it is not passed to the ad network. In the background the app creates an anonymous account, which you can delete at any time in Settings. The app uses Google AdMob for the banner ad and Google Firebase for sign-in, crash reports and app analytics; these services process device identifiers as described in our privacy policy. IMPORTANT – NOT MEDICAL ADVICE MamaPulse is a timing and note-taking tool. It is not a medical device and not medical advice. It does not diagnose labor, predict when your baby will arrive or decide when you should go to the hospital. The timer only measures your own taps, so a missed or late tap changes the numbers. Always follow the instructions your doctor or midwife gave you. Call your doctor, midwife or hospital straight away – or your local emergency number in an emergency – if your waters break, you notice bleeding, your baby is moving less than usual, you have severe or constant pain, you have contractions before 37 weeks, or you are worried about anything, whatever the timer shows.
