Oleada: Contraction Timer

Oleada is a labour contraction timer built for the moment you actually need it: at night, in pain, in a hurry. One button: tap it when a contraction starts and tap it again when it ends. WHAT IT DOES • Measures how long each contraction lasts and the interval between them, start to start, which is how your midwife asks for it. • Compares your contractions with the rule you choose: 5-1-1, 4-1-1, 3-1-1, or the one your maternity unit gave you. • Tells you where you are: irregular, a pattern is forming, rule met. If contractions get close together it tells you to call now, without waiting for a full hour. • When-to-call signs always one tap away: waters breaking, bleeding, reduced baby movements, fever. With a button to call your maternity unit or emergency services, using your country's number. • Editable history: fix a time, delete a contraction you logged by mistake (with undo), add one you missed, write a note. None of this costs anything. • Start and stop button in the notification and in a home screen widget: log without unlocking your phone. • The screen stays on while you are timing. • Share the summary by message with your birth partner. • Separate sessions: yesterday's early labour does not get mixed with today's birth. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No ads. None. Not on the timer screen, not anywhere. • No account, no email, and no internet access. Your data stays on your phone. • The only personal detail is your maternity unit's phone number, if you choose to save it. It is kept out of the backup and only leaves the app when you press call: at that moment it goes to your own dialler, as if you had typed it. That is why you will see "Phone number" under shared data above, and also that no data is collected. Both are true. • No in-app purchases. No subscriptions, no locked features, no nagging to pay. The PDF report for your midwife, the CSV export, the full-session chart and the colour themes are all there from day one.
