Sunlap

Sunlap counts a life the way the solar system does: in laps around the sun. Open it and you are somewhere specific — a certain day of the lap you are on, a certain stretch of the arc behind you, so many hours lived. Not a birthday once a year. A number that moves while you look at it. THE ARC One lap is one year, drawn as it happens: the day you are on, the hours you have lived, the full moons you have seen, the generation your birth year falls in. All of it worked out from a single date. Nothing to log, nothing to keep up with. 361 TROPHIES Across Time, Cosmos, Countries, Geography, Wonders, Cities, Travel, Nature, Body, Culture, Food and more. 94 unlock themselves as the numbers arrive — your ten-thousandth day, your hundredth full moon. The other 267 are yours to claim, and you can date them exactly, by year, or roughly. A life is not a spreadsheet, and not everything comes with a date attached. Make your own for the things nobody wrote a trophy for, and leave a note on any of them. THE WORLD Tick the countries you have been to and the trophies work themselves out: continents crossed, a share of the world, the places you lived in as well as the ones you passed through. Landmarks keep a list of their own — a country is somewhere you were, and the Golden Gate Bridge is something you stood in front of. FRIENDS Swap a code with someone and you each see the other's laps, level and trophies. Nothing is public. No feed, nothing to scroll. QUIET, AND YOURS The counter starts before the account does: everything is on your phone first. Sign in and it follows you to whatever phone you pick up next. Your date of birth is used for one thing — counting — and it never leaves your device except to your own row. English, Italiano, Français, Español, Deutsch.
