Clubfoot Forward: Ponseti

Clubfoot Forward is a record-keeping app and knowledge base for people living with clubfoot, also called club foot or talipes equinovarus. It is built for teens and adults with clubfoot, for parents going through Ponseti casting and bracing with a child, and for families who have just had a prenatal diagnosis. Everything you record stays on your phone. There is no account to create. FOR TEENS AND ADULTS Log a check-in in a few taps: how much pain, where it is, and what else you noticed, such as stiffness, swelling, numbness or cramping. Add the activities from your day. Once you have logged enough, History shows how your pain has moved over the weeks and which activities tend to be logged on the same days as pain, with the counts behind each one. Keep records of your footwear, orthotics and past surgeries in one place. MOVEMENT A movement library you can filter by impact, ankle demand, equipment and body region. Every movement has written steps, and some have short demonstration videos. Track the sessions you actually do. CASTING Record each cast with its Pirani and Dimeglio scores, note when a cast came off early and why, and log the tenotomy. The scores are charted over time. BRACING Start and stop a brace timer with one tap, or log a session afterward. Set the daily hours that were prescribed, including a custom schedule. Optional reminders in the evening and in the morning. Missed nights are recorded as they happened. There are no streaks. Save the brace and shoe setup you are using, and the app compares what you observed before and after a change. On Android, a home screen widget shows whether the brace is on and today's hours, and starts or stops the timer without opening the app. APPOINTMENTS Write your questions before a visit, mark what got answered, and keep notes on what was discussed. Generate a provider summary from your own records to bring with you. For parents, How They Are Doing keeps a short record of the child rather than the treatment, with questions that change as they get older. LEARN Plain-language answers about casting, bracing, tenotomy, relapse, gait, footwear and adult life with clubfoot. Answers show the study, protocol or guidance they are based on, so you can check it yourself. Switch from the header at any time. Most Learn answers are in English for now. YOUR RECORDS Records, photos, notes and appointments are stored on your device and are not uploaded anywhere. Save a backup file whenever you like and restore it on a new phone. The app shows ads. An optional supporter subscription removes them.
