Chain Reaction

Chain Reaction gives you a category and a starting letter, then thirty seconds to type every word which fits both. It is a race, and you are not alone in it. Every word pays its own length, and a clean run of words stokes a chain, so each one pays a little more than the last. One miss and the chain is gone, which makes the next word worth protecting. Four rivals play the same brief at the same time. They go for the obvious words first, and they go early, so the easy answers are contested. Type a word before their grab lands and you block them, take it off their card, and earn a bonus for the trouble. Everyone plays the same brief on the same day, so the score you post is a fair one. Come back tomorrow and it is a fresh brief, with the streak still counting. Free to play: * The daily challenge, the same for everyone * A warm-up shelf with thirty-one themes to work on * The word steal, against four rivals * A friends' board and a global one, working offline * A calendar which opens any day again * A streak which counts every day in a row * A spoiler-free result image to share with a challenge * No adverts, and it plays offline One letter. Thirty seconds. Go.
