CP12 Pro: Gas Safety Record

CP12 Pro is an offline certificate app for registered gas engineers in the UK. It produces the Landlord or Homeowner Gas Safety Record (the CP12), the Gas Warning Notice and the Service and Maintenance Record, and it keeps each property's details and appliances, ready to carry into next year's check. EVERY LANDLORD CHECK COMING DUE, ON ONE SCREEN The home screen is your repeat work: every property sorted by the date its next landlord check is due, overdue first. Each one carries its landlord, its tenant and its appliances, and one tap starts this year's check with the property and its appliances carried across. The app works out the next due date using the two-month window in regulation 36A: a check done in the two months before the deadline keeps the anniversary, and a check done earlier or later starts a fresh twelve months. It shows the date it has worked out before you issue, and you can change it by hand. NOTHING IS PRE-TICKED Every check on every appliance starts empty. A record cannot be issued with a safety check left unanswered, and marking an appliance safe to use over a failed check asks for your reason. Starting this year's check copies the property and its appliances, never last year's readings. THE RECORD - Appliance rows: location, type, make and model, flue type, operating pressure or heat input, safety device, ventilation, flue condition, flue performance, serviced, safe to use - Optional combustion readings (CO ppm, CO2 %, ratio) and a photo per appliance - Your results for gas tightness, emergency control, protective equipotential bonding and the CO alarm - Defects, remedial action, your signature and the received-by signature - Sequential record numbers with your own prefix, and your logo on the PDF WARNING NOTICES Record Immediately Dangerous and At Risk notices, with the definitions on screen and the classification left to you. Record the action taken, who was told, their signature or a refusal, and the Gas Emergency Contact Centre reference when permission to make safe is refused. GAS RATE TIMER Metric or imperial meter. Time the meter readings or the test dial, and the gross and net heat input appear beside the data-plate range you entered. One tap puts the net figure on the appliance row. SHARING AND REMINDERS - Share the PDF by email, messaging app or print, and each share is logged with who it went to and when - Reminders scheduled for 30 and 14 days before each property's check is due, with a diagnostic screen for when Android holds one back - A ready-written email or text to the landlord that you check and send yourself YOUR RECORDS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account and no sync. One backup file contains your properties, records, signatures and photos, and can be restored on another phone without deleting the records already on it. WHO IT IS FOR Sole traders and small firms doing landlord gas safety checks and boiler services. WHAT IT IS NOT CP12 Pro records the checks you carry out. You, the registered engineer, are responsible for every check, reading and classification it records. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any registration body, regulator or standards body.
