Full description

CITIShield is a free hyperlocal community awareness app that shows residents what is happening within 200 metres of their location: power, water, flood risk, traffic and safety. How it works See something happening in your area? Report it in one tap using a simple three-colour signal: 🔴 Red — An immediate danger or serious risk 🟠 Amber — A developing hazard or disruption requiring caution 🟢 Green — General information, an all-clear, or an issue that has been resolved Hyperlocal by design CITIShield is built around your immediate surroundings. Reports are location-based and focused within a 200-metre radius, helping you see what has been reported close to where you are rather than receiving broad updates from across a city. Nearby residents can confirm or dispute reports, helping build a clearer picture of what is happening in the local area. Reports relating to the same issue can also be grouped into a single local update. Community Pulse Community Pulse provides a simple snapshot of reported local conditions, including power, water, flood risk and safety. It gives you a quick view of what has been reported nearby at a particular point in time. Built for everyday awareness Whether you are at home, heading to work, walking through your neighbourhood or visiting somewhere new, CITIShield helps you stay connected to what is happening around you. See what’s happening. Report what you see. Stay hyperlocal. Important information CITIShield is designed to support community awareness and local reporting. It is not a replacement for police, fire, ambulance or other official emergency services. In an emergency, always contact your local emergency services directly. CITIShield is free for residents and developed by CitiBIM.
