Full description
Emberfall is a warm, glowing arcade game about catching light before it fades. Soft embers drift and tumble down the screen in different colours, and you slide a row of glowing bowls along the bottom to catch each one in the bowl that matches its colour. Every clean catch answers back with a little puff of sparks, and the whole screen fills with drifting warmth rather than clutter — it's the kind of game that's soothing to look at and quietly hard to put down. It begins slow and cosy, then tightens its grip. The falls speed up, more colours join in, and soon you're reading the entire screen at once, weaving the bowls back and forth to keep everything landing where it should. Miss one and it simply winks out — gentle, never punishing — while a run of clean catches builds a combo that blooms brighter the longer you hold it, right up until one slip sends it back to zero and dares you to start the climb again. There are a few ways to play. Endless chases a high score with a forgiving miss penalty, Rush gives you ninety frantic seconds to catch as many as you can, and Zen drops the pressure entirely so you can just enjoy the light while it still tracks your best combo. Optional twists like embers that split in two or bowls that swap colour keep seasoned players on their toes, and your high scores and longest streaks are saved for every mode. A big animated title greets you, every ember is a soft particle with its own glow and trail, and the palette burns warm against the dark, with buttons styled uniquely for the game. It all runs offline with no account and no ads. Whether you want a few relaxed minutes or a tense sprint for a new record, Emberfall makes catching falling light genuinely, quietly addictive.
