BD Field Utility

BD Field Utility is the mobile companion to Build Daily for construction teams, contractors, and service crews. Access project documents, capture field work, and stay connected to the office from the jobsite. PROJECT FILES IN YOUR POCKET Browse drawings, PDFs, photos, and documents organized by project, estimate, service work, company files, and personal files. Search your workspace and quickly return to recent files. CAPTURE WORK IN THE FIELD Upload photos, PDFs, and documents, or share files into Build Daily from other Android apps. Create project photo records, field observations, and daily reports with supporting details and photo evidence. JOBSITE TIME ASSIST AND TIMESHEETS The optional Jobsite Time Assist helper recognizes visits to company jobsites, suggests clock-in and clock-out entries, and keeps places visited beside your weekly timesheet. Review, adjust, or dismiss suggestions before confirming time entries. Suggested time requires your confirmation before it becomes payable time. When your company enables the feature and you opt in, BD Field Utility collects location during eligible work periods, including while the app is closed or not in use, to recognize jobsite arrivals and departures. Android delivers background updates on a best-effort basis, not continuously. You can turn the helper off and manage location access in Android settings. TIME AND EXPENSES Use the clock, review timesheets, and prepare expenses with receipt photos. Optional location features also support nearby work and time punches according to your company settings and device permissions. PROJECT AND SERVICE TICKETS Prepare project time-and-material tickets and service tickets with labor, materials, photos, and signatures. Available tools and records depend on your company configuration and account permissions. OFFLINE-FRIENDLY FIELD WORK Access cached files and supported saved field work when connectivity is limited. Supported offline changes are queued for synchronization when a connection becomes available. BUILT FOR CONSTRUCTION TEAMS BD Field Utility supports general contractors, subcontractors, field technicians, and service crews using Build Daily. ACCOUNT AND ACCESS The app is free to download and requires a Build Daily account. Access to company and project data is managed through your company subscription and account permissions.
