Bracken Fell Wool

You never touch a sheep. You only move the dog. Bracken Fell Wool is a quiet herding game about pressure and patience. Every sheep on the fell thinks for itself: it keeps a little space from the animal beside it, drifts into line with its neighbours, leans back toward the middle of the group, and wanders when nothing is pressing it. Step the dog inside a sheep's flight radius and it moves away. That is your only lever. The flock you see forming, splitting and flowing across the grass is not scripted -- it emerges from those simple rules, run twenty-odd times over, sixty times a second. Drag anywhere on the pasture to send the dog. Swing wide around the outside of the group, settle behind it and slightly off the line to the gate, and the whole flock rolls toward the opening. Charge straight through the middle and you will split them in two and spend the rest of the light gathering them again. TWELVE PASTURES Meadow Gate through to High Woolgate. The flock grows from five sheep to twenty, ponds and rock outcrops and hedge lines close the ground in, the gate narrows, the clock tightens, and the last pastures send the sheep out in two separate groups that have to be brought together before they will go anywhere. Every layout is fixed, so a pasture you have learned is the same pasture the next time you play it. CALM IS THE SKILL Points come from sheep penned and light left on the clock, but also from calmness -- a measure of how rarely you pushed the flock to a flat run. The highest scores belong to the quietest work, not the fastest sprint. Sheep driven too far from the group turn skittish, widen their own flight radius and stop trusting their neighbours, so a panicked scatter costs you far more time than a steady walk ever saves. No sound at all -- the game is entirely visual, with an optional short haptic nudge when a sheep passes through the gate, so it plays perfectly in silence. Your progress is stored on your own device and nowhere else. Everything on screen -- the rolling pasture, the wool, the dog, the weathered gate -- is drawn live with vector graphics. No photographs, no gambling, no violence. Just a green hillside, a good dog and a gate to find.
