ValkFire is incident command, apparatus readiness and firefighter accountability in one app, built for small and paid-on-call fire departments with little time for training. It's sold to departments, not individuals. Your department signs you up and an administrator gives you access. INCIDENT COMMAND • Start an incident in seconds and run it from a command board built for a tablet turned sideways. • Drag members and rigs into assignments. The columns fit the call: a structure fire gets Attack, Search, Vent, Water Supply and RIT, and a medical call doesn't. • Mayday with a deliberate hold, so it can't be pressed by accident. • PAR timers that start when the first unit is about to arrive, not while everyone is still en route. • Benchmarks, notes, mutual aid, MCI and a full timeline for the report afterward. RIGS AND TRUCK CHECKS • "Can we roll?" at a glance: every rig shows ready, a notice, or out of service. • Truck checks built from the sheets your department already uses. Fails become deficiencies with photos and are routed to administrators. • Registration, pump tests and other dated items warn you before they expire. • Maintenance history and costs for every apparatus. HAZARDS, MAPS AND PRE-PLANS • Hazard map with isolation and protective-action zones and live wind. • ERG lookup, plus reading a placard number from a photo. • Pre-plans, hydrants and water sources, ready when the call comes. • Offline maps kept on the device, so the map still works where cell coverage doesn't. • EMesh (experimental): phones on the same call stay in step over Bluetooth or the command rig's Wi-Fi when there's no signal.
