Happier

Be more intentional with your attention Every day, we open apps almost automatically. A swipe, a tap — and minutes or hours can pass without noticing. Happier helps you create a small pause in that moment. Not to restrict. Not to judge. Just to bring awareness back. Because attention matters. Because being present matters. A pause before the reflex Happier introduces a short pause before opening selected apps. A moment to breathe. A moment to notice. A moment to choose. This simple interruption helps break automatic habits and makes space for conscious decisions. Two simple features 1. Pause before entering When you open a selected app, Happier gently appears. It doesn’t block access — it simply invites you to slow down before continuing. 2. No doomscrolling Before entering the app, you decide how long you want to stay. When the time is over, the app closes and space returns. No endless scrolling. No accidental overuse. Designed for balance, not restriction Happier is not about productivity pressure or self-control guilt. You can scroll. You can enjoy. You can also stop. Happier supports a healthier relationship with apps — especially social media and other high-engagement platforms. Calm, lightweight, respectful • No account required • No ads • No tracking • No data leaves your device Everything works locally. Happier stays quiet and minimal, and only appears when needed. Accessibility Service usage Happier uses Android’s Accessibility Service to enable its core functionality. This allows the app to: • detect when selected apps are opened • display a brief pause screen before use The service is used only for this purpose and operates entirely on your device. You can manage or disable this access at any time in your system settings. A tool to be more present Less noise. More clarity. More moments lived intentionally — with others, with yourself, in the real world.
