BECOME's Augmented Life Monitor app connects your Wear OS smartwatch with the “Augmented Life Suite” Virtual Reality (VR) experiences on Meta Quest. It enables real-time heart rate (HR) monitoring during immersive VR sessions. In “Augmented Exposure” VR scenarios, HR data helps monitor potential anxiety and distress. In “Augmented Performance” VR environments, it supports biofeedback exercises for stress regulation and emotional balance transforming natural landscapes depending on the user's ability to manage their heart rate. HR data is securely stored on a proprietary cloud platform without collecting personal identifiers. The app is designed to be used only in the presence of a trained professional, ensuring safe and supported use for wellbeing interventions.
