ProperMech

ProperMech connects car owners directly with skilled, independent automotive pros — mechanics, tint installers, detailers, wrap shops, and dent repair techs. No call centers, no shared leads, no middlemen. You deal with the person doing the work. ▸ FIND YOUR PRO Browse vetted independent pros in your area. See their specialties, the makes they work on, customer reviews, and their listed services with upfront pricing. Pick the one that fits — not the one who paid for an ad. ▸ SHOP OR MOBILE — YOUR CHOICE Going to them or need them to come to you? Choose "I'll go to the shop" or "Come to me." For mobile jobs, type your address and it stays private — it's shared with the pro only after they accept your job, and with no one else. ▸ DESCRIBE THE JOB YOUR WAY Add each issue as its own line item. Snap a photo of the noise source, the warning light, the dent, or the panels you want wrapped — each issue gets its own photo so your pro knows exactly what they're walking into. ▸ PICK YOUR TIME Choose "ASAP" or tap a specific day and time window — morning, afternoon, or evening. Your pro confirms an appointment and you get a push notification when they do. ▸ TRACK EVERYTHING LIVE See your job's status from Requested → Accepted → In Progress → Completed. For mobile jobs, watch your pro's live location on the map as they drive to you. Get video updates and photos from the pro while the work is happening. ▸ VIN SCANNER Point your camera at the VIN plate and the app reads it automatically. No typing 17 characters. The VIN decodes your vehicle's year, make, model, engine, trim, and drive type so your pro can quote accurately from the start. ▸ YOUR GARAGE Save all your vehicles with full specs. See every service request, estimate, and completed job in one place — your car's digital service history. ▸ RATE & REVIEW After each job, rate your pro and leave a review. Your feedback helps other car owners find the right specialist.
