Basetah Kiosk

Basetah Kiosk is an attendance terminal app installed by an employer at its workplace, allowing employees to clock in and out using a shared tablet. Daily Use • The employee finds their photo on the screen and taps it. • They enter their personal kiosk PIN, which is between four and eight digits. • They select either **Clock In** or **Clock Out**, and the process is completed within seconds. • If the employer enables photo verification, a quick photo is captured during clock-in or clock-out to verify the employee’s identity. ### Setup and Administration • The device is registered once using a registration code generated from the Basetah administration dashboard. The code expires after fifteen minutes. • The device operates in a locked kiosk mode so it cannot be used for other purposes. The employer can disable kiosk lock mode from the administration dashboard. • Attendance records are sent directly to the Basetah system. If the internet connection is unavailable, records are temporarily stored on the device and automatically uploaded once connectivity is restored. • Only employees assigned to that specific work location are displayed on the kiosk. Privacy • The app does not use the device’s geographic location at any time. • Data is transmitted securely using encrypted connections to the employer’s system and is not shared with any third party. This app is intended for shared employer-owned devices and is not a personal employee app. It cannot be used with a personal account and will not function unless the device has been registered by the employer’s HR administration. Basetah Kiosk was designed Arabic-first for workforces in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.
