Automobile Engineering Course

Automotive Industry is a gigantic sector and nowadays, it is one of the indispensable parts of the industry as it plays an important role in the commutation. With the advent of technology, almost every day, a new automotive product is introduced in the market and therefore, those who study Automotive/Automobile engineering have to keep themselves updated with the current norms of the industry. Automotive engineering is one of the most sophisticated courses in engineering which involves design, manufacturing, modification and maintenance of an automobile such as buses, cars, trucks and other transportation vehicles. The first and foremost requirement to become an Automobile Engineer is “passion and interest” in cars and other automotive products. To pursue this course, one should have basic understanding of subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. The students should also have an aptitude for resolving mechanical problems. Creativity and innovative solutions in drawing, designing and repairs are few essential skill-sets for this course. Automobile Engineering is a combination of electrical, mechanical, electronics, safety and software engineering. Automobile Engineering is highly productive for candidates who want to work in automobile development and manufacturing companies. Along with the designing aspect, automobile engineers also deal with the cost and production aspects of automobile development. Vehicle dynamics, Noise, Vibration and Harshness engineering are also part of the engineering process. Automobile Engineering is basically concerned with the research of various automobile engines and their production, the electrical systems involved, alternative fuels, safety of automobile parts, and automobile quality. For multidimensional learning, students are exposed to case studies and problem-based learning, brainstorming, written tests, computer programming, group discussions, industry training and seminars, and various projects related to the Automotive Engineering Course Automotive Engineering. Automobile Engineering is one of the most advanced courses in engineering that involves making of an automobile, including manufacturing, operation, design and investigation of it during repairs, reconstruction and modification. It involves the designing of automobiles like that of cars, buses, trucks and all kinds of vehicles used for road transportation Students can specialise in Automotive or Railway Engineering. Graduates have global career opportunities and the skills to contribute to innovative and sustainable solutions that minimise the vehicle industry's environmental impact. Vehicle Engineering is a broad area of engineering science driven by an ever-increasing degree of mobility in the world. Transport, however, must face the challenge of minimising its environmental impact, requiring new, innovative solutions and capable engineers. This field will continually demand specialists to make the transition to sustainable road and rail transport in the future. The Automobile Engineering Course is based on lectures, assignments, simulations, experiments and team-based project work. The first year focuses on providing a common base in vehicle engineering, including some mandatory courses for all students and mandatory courses for each specialisation. In addition to the mandatory courses, you can choose several conditionally elective courses to create your own profile, for example, related to vehicle design, functional design, structural design, control theory and transport systems.
