ArkSlate turns an Android tablet or phone into the front counter of your business. Sign in and the device becomes whatever the shift needs — a register, a customer-facing display, a kitchen screen, or a time clock. Whichever mode it runs in, the work lands in the same books as every other terminal, till and screen you have open. WHAT IT DOES • Register — ring up items from your own menu, apply discounts and promotions, attach a customer, and take cash, card or gift card. • Customer display — pair a second device so the customer can watch their order as it is rung up, choose a tip, ask for a receipt, and join your loyalty program themselves. • Kitchen display — tickets arrive as orders are placed and are bumped when the food goes out. • Tables — seat, move and settle tables for dine-in service. • Service calls — log a visit on a customer's account, with photos and notes, without ringing up a sale. • Inventory — check stock and adjust counts from the floor rather than the office. • Customers — look someone up, see what they have spent and what is still owed. • Time clock — staff clock in and out on a shared device.
