Sajda: Prayer Times & Qibla

Accurate Sunni prayer times, computed on your phone. Namaz calculates prayer times from your coordinates using published astronomical methods, the same Jean Meeus solar algorithms used by observatories. Nothing is looked up, downloaded, or synced. The times are correct in airplane mode, in a basement, on a plane, or on a phone with no Google services at all. FULLY ON-DEVICE CALCULATION Your prayer times are calculated instantly on your phone. Your location never leaves your device, because the calculation happens entirely locally. There are no accounts, and no sign-in is required. BUILT FOR GLOBAL SUNNI PRACTICE Most prayer apps force you into a one-size-fits-all calculation. This one gives you total control: • Nine calculation authorities: Muslim World League, ISNA, Egypt, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Dubai, Diyanet, UOIF (France), MUIS (Singapore), plus fully custom Fajr/Isha angles • Asr by madhab: Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) or Hanafi shadow methods • Maghrib computed exactly at sunset • True Midnight calculation (the midpoint between Maghrib and Fajr) • Optional Imsak row • Per-prayer minute offsets, so you can perfectly match your local mosque • Crescent-visibility Hijri calendar with Sunni occasions (Eids, sacred months, recommended fasts) WHAT YOU GET • Times: Imsak, Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Sunset, Maghrib, Isha, Midnight • Live countdown to the next prayer, with the current prayer highlighted • Qibla compass using your phone's rotation sensor (true-north corrected) • Four home-screen widgets: from a compact next-prayer block to a full timetable • Per-prayer notification reminders you can switch on individually • Choose which rows you want to see, hide the ones you don't • Themes: System, Light, Dark, and a Minimal mode • 12h or 24h clock • GPS location, or enter coordinates manually for any city SMALL AND FAST The whole app is a little over one megabyte. It opens instantly and does not run background services you didn't ask for. FREE TO USE Every core feature is included and unlocked from the start. The app is supported by unobtrusive ads, allowing us to keep it free for everyone. A NOTE ON ACCURACY Prayer times depend on the calculation method, and scholars differ. By default, you can choose from major global authorities like MWL, Umm al-Qura, or ISNA. If your mosque uses different values, the custom angles and per-prayer offsets let you match them exactly. If you find a discrepancy, please get in touch. Accuracy reports are taken seriously and have driven several releases. Welcome to Sunni Namaz & Qibla - now on Google Play!
