Safehold: Protected Payments

Safehold protects both sides of a deal. The buyer pays by card, Stripe holds the payment, and the seller is paid when the agreed proof of completion is accepted. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a deal: what's being delivered, the price, and how completion will be proven (photo, receipt, tracking number, sign-off or inspection) 2. Share the deal link with the seller. They accept the deal and the agreed proof, or decline it 3. The buyer pays by card. Stripe, our regulated payment partner, authorises and holds the payment 4. The seller delivers and submits the proof 5. The buyer confirms and Stripe pays the seller, or reports a problem WHY SAFEHOLD • We never hold your money. Stripe does • The seller is the merchant: payment is made to the seller through Stripe, and you see their name when you pay • Both parties agree the proof up front, so there are no surprises • Either side can cancel a deal before anything is paid • Message the other party inside the private deal room • Clear status at every step: waiting, held by Stripe, delivered, paid or disputed FOR SELLERS • Set up your Stripe payout account once, from Account → Set up payouts • Get paid straight to your own Stripe account when the buyer confirms, less the Safehold fee • Get an email at each step, with a link that opens the deal YOUR ACCOUNT, YOUR CONTROL • Reset your password from the sign-in screen • Delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account Safehold is operated by Afrisovera Global Holdings Ltd (company no. 17244459, England and Wales).
