Workimy is a simple way to run a team that works away from the office: construction and renovation sites, farms, hotels and restaurants, security and cleaning companies. Your workers clock in and out from their phone. You see who is working, where, and for how long — without phone calls, without paper, without a notebook that gets lost. WHAT YOU GET Clock in and clock out A worker joins a site with a six-character code and clocks in from his phone. Hours are counted automatically, so nobody argues at the end of the month. Your team in one place Add your workers, give each one a rate and a schedule, see who is present today and who is not. Supervisors send you notes and photos from the site. Hours that turn into pay Overtime, night and weekend rates, days worked — all calculated for you. At the end of the period you know exactly what each person is owed. Sites and progress Create a site, set its work area on the map, follow tasks and expenses, and keep a photo record of the work as it advances. Talk to your team A group chat per site, voice messages for the people who prefer talking to typing, and notifications so nothing is missed. LOCATION ON SITE (WITH YOUR PERMISSION) When a worker clocks in on a site, Workimy records his location and monitors the work area of that site. This is used for two things: to notify the site manager if the worker leaves the work area while still clocked in, and to count hours for the time actually spent on site. This collection continues in the background, including when the app is closed or not in use. It starts when the worker clocks in and stops when he clocks out, and it never runs outside those hours. Workimy explains all of this on screen and asks for permission before collecting any location. A worker who refuses can still clock in and clock out normally — only the out-of-area alert stops working. WORKS WHERE YOU WORK Built for teams in Africa and beyond: works on modest phones, in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, and keeps working when the network does not.

What's new

Workimy now explains on a full screen, before asking, why it needs your location while you are clocked in, and what happens if you refuse. New: a worker can end his own day without the supervisor's QR code. The site manager is notified. The team map now shows who is on site as soon as a worker clocks in. Fixes: joining a site with a code, the site screen opening, team post comments, and setting a worker's pay rate.
