BigOne

BigOne is a disaster-preparedness game for students of the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite. Walk through a 3D model of the LPU Cavite campus and learn what to do, step by step, when disaster strikes. FOR LPU STUDENTS ONLY BigOne is intended only for students of the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite in the Philippines. Signing in requires an LPU student email address (@lpunetwork.edu.ph); other email addresses cannot create an account. SIMULATION Live through five disasters in four campus buildings: COECSA Building, COECSA Laboratory, J Building and S Building. • Earthquake: duck, cover and hold, then find a safe route out past blocked stairs. • Typhoon: prepare for strong winds and heavy rain. • Flood: move to higher ground as the water rises. • Fire: stay calm, stay low and use the right extinguisher. • Volcanic Ashfall: protect your lungs and eyes and keep the ash out. Every level follows real safety procedures, so the right choices in the game are the right choices in real life. ARCADE Five quick challenge modes to test your reflexes: • Watch Out for Debris: dodge falling debris from the statue to the front gate. • Don't Let the Ashes In: close windows and doors before the ash gets in. • Fire Destinguisher: pick the right extinguisher for each fire and use P.A.S.S. • Drainage Cleaner and Water Arise: keep the campus safe during typhoons and floods. ALMANAC AND SURVIVAL ITEMS Collect emergency items such as a flashlight, medkit, whistle, mask, phone and fire extinguisher, and learn how each one helps you survive.
