TERA NVD

TERA NVD is the field tool for the technicians who look after NVD devices - the collision-alert system that warns when a machine and a vehicle (or two machines) get too close during field work. This version talks to the new generation of devices, NVD 4, and still serves the devices of the earlier versions (2.x). With a phone, no cable and no laptop, the technician can: - Find nearby devices: NVD 4 over Bluetooth, with a proximity radar by signal strength, and the earlier ones over the device's own Wi-Fi network. Search by name, MAC or version. - Read live status: alarm level, distance and direction of the other device, GPS, LoRa radio, radio neighbors, battery, and the "unprotected" and SOS warnings. - Adjust the configuration through the form the device itself describes, with the range of each field, and edit zones in a dedicated editor. - Test the siren and the volume, run a pair test between two devices and set the device clock from the phone. - Download the device's records - episode log, black box recordings, system log and the coredump of a crash - to take back to the office. - Update the firmware over the device's Wi-Fi, with checks before and after: alarm, battery, memory, space, the right board and the version. The update only counts as done after the device approves the new image in its self-test. - Write in the maintenance log, which stays the same on every phone of the crew when there is internet. - Carry to SADI Track the fleet positions the device heard over the radio, when the phone is registered for it. Built for the field, not for the office: - Works without internet: the phone talks to the device directly, over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and sign-in is checked on the phone itself when there is no signal. - Each person reaches only what their profile allows - TERA technician, customer supervisor, or customer operator, who only puts the machine into maintenance mode. - Access is approved by TERA and can be revoked at any time. - In Portuguese and English. - Demo mode for training (TERA profile): a simulated fleet with devices of both generations lets you walk through the whole app, including a complete firmware update, with no device nearby. The app is meant for TERA Tecnologia crews and for the customers who operate NVD devices. An approved account is required to sign in.
