Get instant AHA color classification and view your trends on the History tab. To measure your heart rate, tap the pulse button, place your fingertip over the rear camera and flash, and hold still for about 22 seconds. The app reads your pulse via photoplethysmography (PPG) — the same optical technique used by many fitness apps.
