Full description
Kifayat is a private budget planner and expense tracker. Track your spending, stick to a budget, and watch your savings grow — without handing your financial life to anyone. No bank logins. No ads. Your money data lives on your phone, encrypted, and syncs only to your own account when you choose. Kifayat is local-first and offline-first: it works on a plane, on weak signal, or with mobile data switched off entirely. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Track income and expenses in seconds — no receipts to scan • Budget by category and see exactly where your money goes • Watch your savings rate climb month over month • Set salary, rent and subscriptions once — Kifayat posts them on schedule • Gentle, optional alerts: budget running low, bill due, committee instalment due, weekly summary • A clean monthly review, plus an elegant PDF statement or CSV export • Multiple accounts — cash, bank, card, savings — side by side • Lock the app with your fingerprint or a PIN UDHAAR, COMMITTEES AND GOLD The money a spreadsheet never had a column for. • Udhaar — write down who owes you and whom you owe, before you both forget. Lending and borrowing net out to one clear balance per person. It is your private record: nobody else is added or notified. • Share the hisaab — send someone their balance as a short text, through any messaging app, without the awkward call. Only their name and the balance are shared. • Committees — BC, kameti, whatever you call it. Record what you have paid in, see how many rounds are left, and count down to your turn for the pot. • Gold — keep track of what is in the locker, in tola, valued at an estimated pure-gold spot price. It is an estimate, not a jeweller's buying or selling price. Kifayat keeps the record. It does not lend money, hold money or run a committee — nothing moves unless you move it yourself. BUILT FOR HOW MONEY ACTUALLY MOVES Hisab kitab that takes seconds, not an evening. Track your kharcha, set aside your bachat, and know where the paisa went — without a spreadsheet and without linking a single bank account. WORKING ABROAD? TWO CURRENCIES, ONE LEDGER If you earn in dirhams or riyals and support family in rupees, Kifayat handles both at once. Keep an AED or SAR account alongside a PKR one, each in its own currency, with no guesswork and no manual conversion. Twelve currencies are supported: PKR, AED, SAR, QAR, KWD, OMR, BHD, USD, EUR, GBP, INR and JPY. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your ledger is encrypted on your device with SQLCipher, and the key never leaves your phone. No bank logins, ever. Your amounts and notes sync only to your own account, readable by you alone — never sold, never shared with advertisers, never used to build a profile of you. There are no ads in this app. We use standard analytics to see which screens people use and where the app confuses them, never what you spend. When the app crashes it reports the fault so we can fix it, with your amounts, notes and email stripped out before it is sent. Export everything, or delete everything, whenever you like. Kifayat means thrift — spending wisely and saving steadily. That is the whole app.

What's new

• Udhaar: give a loan a due date, see when it is overdue, and apply a repayment to the loan it pays down • Committees: set the day everyone pays in, and see how far a finished committee got • A rebuilt setup, and a first run that shows what the app actually does • Fixes: screens no longer look empty while they load, long figures are no longer cut off, and tapping a category opens that category for the month you are looking at
