Full description
Some days you can name in a word. Others take a paragraph. InkTideJournal gives you room for both, and asks for nothing you do not feel like giving. Pick one of ten moods, say how strongly it landed, and add a note if you want one. That is a complete entry — two taps, no forms, no blank page staring back at you. Write once a day or six times a day; the journal is built for both. WATCH THE DAY TAKE COLOUR Every entry you log flows into a painted gauge on the Today screen. The level is your blended reading for the day, weighted so a strong feeling counts for more than a passing one, and the colour is mixed from the moods you actually picked. A quiet Tuesday and a turbulent Thursday do not look the same. TEN MOODS, NOT FIVE FACES Radiant, Buoyant, Grateful, Content, Calm, Neutral, Restless, Drained, Anxious, Low. Each one carries a short description, so you are choosing a feeling rather than guessing at a smiley. An intensity scale from "barely there" to "overwhelming" captures the difference between mild irritation and a genuinely hard day. TAG WHAT THE DAY WAS MADE OF Attach context — work, rest, people, movement, outdoors, creative, health, home, money, learning, food, travel — and the Currents screen will show you which of them keep turning up alongside your better days. READ THE CURRENTS A thirty-day trend line, a weekly bar chart, a mood breakdown and a tag ranking. Days you did not write are left as honest gaps rather than quietly scored as average, so the shape you see is the shape that happened. KEEP THE STREAK Streaks count consecutive days with at least one entry, and stay alive if your last entry was yesterday — forgetting until bedtime will not wipe out a fortnight. Twelve badges track the journal's own milestones, from your first entry to a thirty-day run, using all ten moods, or writing a thousand words. A PROMPT WHEN THE PAGE IS BLANK Thirty-two rotating questions, one a day, for the evenings when you want to write but do not know where to start. Turn them off entirely if you would rather begin from nothing. MADE TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY Set a weekly goal and the Today screen quietly measures against it. Reduce motion if the ambient animation distracts you. Choose whether your week starts on Monday or Sunday. Nothing nags you, nothing gamifies your feelings, and nothing asks you to share them. COMPLETELY OFFLINE, COMPLETELY PRIVATE There is no account and no sign-in. There is no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. The app makes no network connections at all — it works exactly the same in flight mode, because there is nothing for it to reach. Everything you write stays in the app's own storage on your phone, and uninstalling erases it completely. A journal should be the one place you are not being measured. This one is.

What's new

First release. Ten moods with intensity, optional notes and twelve context tags. A painted tide gauge for the day's reading, a searchable archive grouped by day, thirty-day trend and weekly charts, streaks and twelve badges, plus a rotating daily writing prompt. Fully offline — no account, no tracking, no network access.
